Status in Nova Scotia
Uncommon. Typically only found in the vicinity of the foodplant.

Flight Period
Mid-June to mid-August.

Habitat
Fresh-water marshes, wet roadsides, meadows.

Larval Foodplants
Turtlehead (Chelone glabra), also possibly Beardtongue (Penstemon digitalis), which is scarce in N.S.

Similar Species in Nova Scotia
None.

Notes
This species is also known as simply "The Baltimore".
